Kruzof Island is a popular destination for camping, biking and hiking.

Mt. Edgecumbe can be reached from a hiking trail which begins at Fred's Creek, the island's eastern shore.
U.S. Forest Service Cabins are located throughout the Tongass National forest, reservations for the Forest Service cabins can be made at www.recreation.gov.
Goddard Hot Springs is a unique destination located 16 miles south of Sitka and features shelters and natural hot springs hot tubs.
